Inside the Fit & Flow Experience 2025: KL’s Ultimate Fitness & Wellness Event
Share
On September 21, 2025, the Heritage Valley Loft Hall in Kuala Lumpur came alive with energy, resilience, and healing at the Fit & Flow Experience. More than just a fitness event, it was a space where over 50 participants came together to move, sweat, connect, and restore.
Created by Tina (Tinkafit) and Nas (Fit for Life +), this one-of-a-kind gathering combined yoga, bodyweight training, an invigorating ice bath, sound healing, and community-building challenges, all within four powerful hours.

This was also one of the first multi-activity fitness and wellness events in Malaysia, setting a new benchmark for holistic gatherings. Beyond the public experience, the bigger vision is to bring events like Fit & Flow into corporate spaces, giving employees opportunities to heal, recharge, reduce stress, and find balance through movement and mindfulness.

The goal was simple yet transformative: to prove that wellness is not just about physical strength, but about balance, community, and self-discovery. The turnout was overwhelming, the energy contagious, and the feedback inspiring.
For many participants, this was their first time stepping into such a multidimensional wellness experience. For others, it was an opportunity to reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.
In a time where many struggle with stress, burnout, and a lack of connection, Fit & Flow offered something more than a workout; it offered a reset. It showed that wellness can be accessible, fun, and deeply healing, all while creating lasting memories.
This event was not just about fitness but about sparking a movement where people could leave stronger, calmer, and more connected than ever before.
The Vision Behind Fit & Flow
The Fit & Flow Experience was born from Tina Ka and Nas’s shared passion for creating something more meaningful than a standard fitness class.
Tina, a fitness and lifestyle creator, and Nas, a fitness advocate with a passion for holistic wellness both saw a gap in the fitness scene in Kuala Lumpur: events were either high-intensity or purely spiritual, but rarely did they bring the two worlds together.
Both founders wanted to create a flow, an intentional journey where participants could move from intensity to stillness, from challenge to healing.
This flow wasn’t random; it was designed to mirror the cycles of life. We push, we struggle, we adapt, and then we rest and grow. That is what Fit & Flow represented.

Tina’s personal journey with fitness shaped much of this vision. As someone who juggles multiple roles, creator, trainer, and single mom, she knows the importance of balance. Fitness gave her strength, but mindfulness gave her clarity.
Nas, on the other hand, had always been drawn to creating communities where people could thrive together. Their combined strengths formed the foundation of this event.
Their vision was to craft an event that takes participants through an intentional flow:
- Open with grounding yoga to awaken the body.
- Build intensity with bodyweight conditioning to challenge limits.
- Strengthen bonds with a group challenge to spark fun and teamwork.
- Reset with the ice bath to cultivate resilience.
-
Close with sound healing meditation to restore balance.
Unlike traditional fitness events, Fit & Flow integrates community spirit, sponsor partnerships, and healing practices to deliver a holistic wellness journey.
It’s not about competing, but about uplifting one another. The ultimate dream? To make Fit & Flow a recurring experience, one that can also be brought into corporate spaces to improve workplace wellness.
Event Highlights
Welcome & Registration
Doors opened at 2:30 PM, and participants were greeted with music, sponsor booths, and a warm welcome from the Fit & Flow team. The registration desk was buzzing as attendees signed in, collected their wristbands, and received their welcome packs.
Volunteers guided participants to photo walls where many took group selfies to mark the start of the experience. The atmosphere was festive but grounded, with laughter, anticipation, and the hum of upbeat tracks filling the air.
The sponsor booths were already lively at this point. From wellness products to skincare and sports brands, participants had the chance to explore offerings before the activities began.
For some, this was the first opportunity to discover local wellness businesses they hadn’t known about. It wasn’t just about fitness; it was about showcasing the wider wellness community of Kuala Lumpur.
Opening Remarks
At 3:00 PM sharp, the event officially began. Tina and Nas took the stage, welcomed everyone, and shared the story of why Fit & Flow was created. Their words carried authenticity, and the audience felt connected immediately.
They emphasized the idea of community and reminded participants that the goal wasn’t to be the strongest or the fittest, but to flow through the experience together.
Sponsors were also introduced at this time, ensuring that those who had contributed to making the event possible were recognized. This acknowledgment set a tone of gratitude and collaboration.
Yoga Flow with Pascal

The first session was led by Pascal, an experienced yoga instructor with over 15 years of practice. Her Vinyasa flow focused on linking breath with movement, gradually opening the body and preparing participants for the journey ahead.
For many who arrived with stress from the workweek, this was the moment to let go and arrive fully in the present.

The yoga session wasn’t just stretching, it was grounding. The hall fell into silence except for Pascal’s steady voice and the synchronized breaths of over 50 people.
As participants moved from downward dog to warrior poses, the collective energy grew calmer, yet more focused. One participant shared afterward, “I didn’t expect to feel so present so quickly. Pascal set the perfect tone.”
Bodyweight Training with Tina Ka

After yoga, it was time to turn up the intensity. Tina took the stage with her trademark energy and led participants through a 20-minute bodyweight conditioning workout.
Squats, lunges, push-ups, core movements, all designed to challenge without requiring any equipment. The workout was inclusive; options were given for beginners and advanced participants alike.
The music grew louder, the energy spiked, and the sound of encouragement filled the hall. Participants laughed through the burn, and some even cheered each other on. Sweat dripped, but so did smiles.
This session was about showing that strength is already within us, all we have to do is tap into it. Tina reminded everyone, “Progress, not perfection,” and the crowd echoed that energy back.
Group Challenge

For the group challenge, everyone in the hall took part in an exciting plank-hold showdown. Participants were encouraged to join regardless of fitness level, with the option to hold either a low plank or high plank.
The energy was electric as the entire community cheered each other on, shouting words of encouragement and clapping to keep spirits high. One by one, participants began to drop, but the determination in the room never wavered.
It was a test of both mental and physical endurance, where every extra second felt like a victory. The challenge came down to the final few, with the crowd rallying behind them as the timer pushed past the five-minute mark.
In an incredible display of grit, one girl outlasted everyone, holding her plank for an astonishing 6 minutes and 39 seconds. The hall erupted in applause and celebration as she was crowned the winner of the challenge.
Her reward was more than just bragging rights, thanks to our sponsor Eckare, she received a full pack of ECPlan Mixed Whey Protein with Collagen, a prize that perfectly aligned with the event’s fitness and wellness theme.
This moment captured the true spirit of Fit & Flow: resilience, community, and celebrating every milestone together.
Ice Bath with Contrast Garden

Perhaps the most talked-about highlight was the ice plunge. Contrast Garden brought in the tubs and guided participants through breathwork to prepare them for the cold. The moment people stepped into the ice, the hall filled with gasps, screams, and eventually, calm determination.
Some lasted a few seconds, others a few minutes—but every single person walked away with pride. The ice bath symbolized resilience.
As one participant said, “If I can do this, I can handle anything this week throws at me.” The group dynamic made it even more powerful, as people cheered each other on through the shivers. It was more than an ice bath, it was a collective triumph.
Wellness Break & Sponsor Showcase

After the intensity of the ice bath, participants enjoyed a well-deserved break. Nutritious food and drinks sponsored by partners gave everyone a chance to refuel. The sponsor booths came alive again, offering everything from healthy snacks to beauty consultations.
This was not just downtime, it was an opportunity to connect with the brands that supported wellness in the community. Participants mingled, shared their ice bath stories, and explored the offerings.
For sponsors, this was invaluable: an engaged, health-conscious audience open to learning and experiencing new products.
Sound Healing & Meditation with Ajna Collective

As the sun began to set, the final session unfolded. The lights dimmed, mats were spread, and Juinn from Ajna Collective began the sound healing journey. Using gongs, singing bowls, and soothing tones, the hall was transformed into a sanctuary of peace.
After the intensity of the afternoon, this was the moment of restoration. Many participants closed their eyes, some drifted into deep meditation, and others even shed tears as the vibrations washed over them.
It was a release, a healing, and a reminder that stillness is just as important as movement. The timing was perfect, the sunset casting warm light into the hall amplified the experience.

One participant later shared, “The sound healing was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. I left feeling whole again.”
Closing & Goodie Bags
The event ended with gratitude. Tina and Nas thanked the sponsors, the instructors, and most importantly, the participants. A lively lucky draw, powered by LifenFitness, added excitement as winners walked away with gym passes and wellness prizes.
Finally, each attendee received a goodie bag filled with sponsor products, discounts, and gifts to take home.
As people left the hall, the atmosphere was electric. Some were already asking when the next event would be. The consensus was clear: Fit & Flow wasn’t just an event—it was an experience that people wanted more of.

Conclusion & What’s Next

Tina and Nas plan to expand Fit & Flow, bringing it into corporate offices to promote employee wellness, while also continuing to host public experiences that unite people through movement and mindfulness.
The dream is to make Fit & Flow a flagship wellness series in Malaysia, one that inspires more people to embrace fitness, healing, and community as part of their everyday lives.
With the support of sponsors, the dedication of instructors, and the passion of participants, the possibilities are endless.
This was just the beginning. Fit & Flow will return, bigger and stronger, with more opportunities for the community to come together, sweat, heal, and grow.
Until then, the message of the day lives on: a stronger body, a calmer mind, and a connected community.
